Today was a celebration day at Red Hat’s Pune Marigold office — courtesy, the Fedora 11 release. The event was totally informal where the developers and college students had a chance to interact with each other. Attendees asked questions and the answers came from actual contributors of distribution.

LinuxCon stated for Sept 21-23, 2009

The Linux Foundation (LF) has confirmed the dates for LinuxCon 2009. The event combines the developer and end user communities, resulting in more than 75 sessions that address “all matters Linux”. The event will take place on September 21-23, 2009 in Portland, Oregon at the Marriott Downtown Waterfront.
